Despite January being a post-holiday month, there still seems like there’s a lot to do. Sausage-making is something that is topping the list, but more on that in another post. In this month’s Italian-Canadian Buzz, there’s a focus on a lot of community events, enjoying the snow and arts events celebrating Italian-Canadian culture. I love it!
More after the jump!
Happy New Year’s Eve! This month has been a crazy one with family events, cooking, baking, Christmas and more. I almost haven’t been able to keep up. I hope we all go into the new year enjoying our time with family, friends and a lot of good food.
This month, the Italian-Canadian buzz online has been about recipes, family and eating. A lot of eating. Enjoy….see you next year!
I’ve been a little slower on the blog postings the last couple of weeks…why? Well, it’s the season for gift shopping, cookie baking and get togethers. Like the bright lights in the photo above, life around these next few weeks becomes glowing with activity and joy. I’m trying hard to keep a balance. So for today, we’re doing a quick review of the month in Italian-Canadian news and buzz.
This month…mob stories, sausages, and some jazz singing. More after the jump.
The chill in the air tells me that snow is just around the corner. Fall’s going by quickly but there’s still Italian-Canadian news to talk about.
This month: World Pasta Day, Thanksgiving and a lot of community events make up the buzz…after the jump!
It’s La Vendemmia! Yes, the grape harvest is celebrated by Italians here too in Canada. Besides the work of many crushing grapes on the weekend, for me it also meant a trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake to enjoy the wineries.
This month: grapes, peppers, Joe Avati and a lot of business news make up the “buzz.”
August is coming to an end and for most of us that means some quality time with a few bushels of tomatoes.
Every month, I feature the online news and items of interest to Italian-Canadians collected from Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, blogs, online newspapers and more.
The buzz this month has been about tomatoes, Olympics and some great Italian festivals across the country. Check out the buzz after the jump!
